In a unexpected collaboration that defies usual expectations, Ubisoft has unveiled an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.

Strange Questline Uncovered

According to the formal announcement, "A strange confrontation pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where whispers of forbidden rituals and fearsome changes echo through the obscurity." The plot features a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who charges the duo with traveling into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a clandestine cult.

The mission concentrates on "bizarre experiments and a fearsome enemy" and is available to all players who have acquired the Yasuke character.

Familiar Places and Transformations

The trailer showcases the Subterranean Sanctuary from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The teaser ends with a striking moment showing a character, presumably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Rewards and Extra Material

Players who accomplish the quest will obtain an exclusive katana alongside multiple items hidden throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
